We use many advanced systems to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Here are a couple of the systems you’ll see in our examining room.
Intraoral CameraThese little cameras let us see areas inside your mouth. They’re used for diagnosis and for letting you “see what your dentist sees.”
Digital and Panoramic X-raysThe X-ray system is probably the most familiar one in our examination room. We use the digital X-ray to take images of your teeth and surrounding tissue. Digital X-rays are a low-energy system that uses less radiation than film-based X-rays. The panoramic X-ray is a special digital X-ray that moves around your head to take a wide-angle image of your entire jaw. It’s an important diagnostic tool and it’s also used for placing dental implants and fitting dentures.
